Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative you will be part of a warehouse & logistics operation at their Nottingham depot, handling the day–to–day warehouse work for one client on site. It is hands–on work, loading and unloading, picking and moving stock, and keeping the warehouse organised through the day.

Job Responsibilities

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficientlyPicking, packing and moving stock around the warehouseOperating a counterbalance forklift to move and store goodsChecking goods in and goods out against paperwork and reporting any discrepanciesKeeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organisedMaking sure stock is stored correctly and safelySupporting the rest of the depot team as neededFollowing all health, safety and manual handling procedures on site

Skills and Experience

To do this Warehouse Operative role you will need:

A valid counterbalance forklift licencePrevious warehouse experience, which is idealA reliable approach and good timekeepingThe ability to work well in a small teamA safety–first attitudeA good eye for detail with stock and paperworkSome flexibility on working hours to suit the operation

Pay and Benefits

A salary of 26,754 per yearA day shift of 09:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility needed
