Description
Our client based in Eastleigh are a global building materials company and the largest global manufacturer of fibre cement products. They are looking for an Operative with a Forklift License, based in their large warehouse that will be responsible for Quality Control, and Goods In.
Technical Requirements to include:
Completed training or proven experience, ideally in logistics, warehouse operations, or quality assurance.Experience or knowledge of quality control: e.g., incoming goods inspection, visual checks, dimensional checksComputer skills would be an advantage: working with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS OfficeSkills in documenting and reporting quality deviations.Forklift licensePersonal Requirements to include:
Attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting goodsSense of responsibility and reliabilityTeamwork skills, but also the ability to work independentlyResilience, especially during high–volume periodsWillingness to work shifts, if requiredInterviews to take place ideally in October and position to start in November. You will be working Monday to Friday 07:00–16:00 and the position is for 6 to 9 months with a high chance of permanent for the right candidate.
