Van Delivery Driver Taunton Location: Wellington, TA21 9RF

Salary: GBP32,500 plus overtime and bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am 4pm (flexibility required)

Start Date: As soon as possible

As a dependable and experienced Van Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment to support our projects, whilst representing Conquip with professionalism in every interaction.

Role Overview Joining our Transport department, you will be responsible for the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery and collection of Conquip products. You will work closely with the Depot Manager to coordinate logistics, consistently maintaining a customer–first approach. Clear communication between the office and customers is key to ensuring on–time deliveries are met or exceeded.

Compliance with all relevant regulations, including Tacho and DSA driving standards, is essential, alongside upholding a positive image of the Conquip brand at all times.

Key Responsibilities Deliver and collect Conquip products professionally, efficiently, and reliably to and from designated destinationsLiaise with the Transport Manager to coordinate logistics and maintain a customer–focused serviceCommunicate effectively between the office and customers to ensure punctual deliveryComply fully with all relevant driving regulations, including Tacho and DSA standardsMaintain a positive and professional image of the Conquip brand in all customer interactionsEnsure the vehicle is well–maintained and meets all compliance requirements Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and compliance of Tacho reportsConsistent on–time delivery performanceHigh levels of customer satisfactionVehicle maintenance and upkeep Skills and Qualifications Excellent teamwork and communication skillsPrevious experience driving a flat–bed van is desirable but not essentialAbility to adhere to regulations and maintain professionalism at all times Key Personal Attributes Ability to work efficiently under pressureStrong verbal and written communication skillsProactive problem–solving attitude in a fast–paced environmentPositive outlook with a commitment to delivering high performanceAlignment with Conquip s five core values To apply for this vacancy, please respond directly to this advert or contact our Head of Recruitment for further information .
