Van Driver – F/T or P/T

Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible delivering food items across the South West. Maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of the rules of the road. Good numeracy and literacy skills required to enable correct delivery of goods.

Monday to Saturday (or part time) – temp to perm for the right candidate.

This can be a part time or full time opportunity to suit candidates.

Own transport required due to location.

Duties

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements

Valid driving licence (class B) with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
