Are you an experienced transport planner in general haulage looking for an exciting opportunity within a market leading company?
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 4 on/4 off days
Salary: Up to 32,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support a fleet of drivers on a daily basisBooking deliveriesMonitoring driver times, progress, providing ETAs to ensure good time keepingRoute planningEnsure compliance with all transport legislation and company policiesCommunicate effectively with customers regarding delays, changes or updates
Requirements:
Previous experience as a transport plannerLegal compliance knowledge – Tachographs, infringements, WTDsStrong communication skillsExcellent UK geographical knowledgeOrganised and able to work on own initiative
