Transport Planner - GBP35,000 to GBP40,000 per annumCheadle Mon-Fri + 1 in 4 Sundays 08:00-18:00

Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with experience in transport planning? Due to recent expansion, we're looking for a reliable Transport Planner to join our busy logistics team and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our daily operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Planning and scheduling driver routes efficiently and cost-effectively

Handling incoming calls and resolving delivery queries

Providing clear communication and support to drivers throughout the day

Conducting driver debriefs upon return to depot

Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams to maintain service levels

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00

1 in 4 Sundays (approx 2-3 hours)

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics role

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Confident handling calls, resolving issues, and managing driver relationships

A calm and solution-focused approach in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of transport compliance and routing software is a plus
