Description

Supply Chain Assistant

Location: Tamworth

Term: 6–Month FTC (Hybrid – 2 days per week on–site)

About the Role:

Are you a detail–oriented and organised professional with a passion for logistics? Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to play a key part in the smooth running of their Operations team during the peak seasons. Based two days per week at our Tamworth Fulfilment Centre, you'll coordinate inbound logistics, maintain accurate systems, and support supplier compliance. If you enjoy working with data and keeping operational processes flowing efficiently, this could be the ideal role for you.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience:

Minimum 1 year in a supply chain or inventory role is required.Experience in e–commerce logistics, consumer goods, or warehouse/fulfilment environments is desirable.Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.

Skills:

Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.Confident communicator, both internally and with external suppliers.Proficient in ERP systems and Excel, with experience generating reports.Self–motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage inbound slot booking and update the inbound booking tracker.Monitor the bookings inbox, triage queries, and maintain smooth scheduling.Liaise with suppliers to ensure logistics standards are met.Reconcile daily stock records and flag any inconsistencies.Update SAP systems daily with receipt information and raise purchase orders.Coordinate stock transfers between warehouse sites, including consumables and gifts.Run daily supply chain reports and dashboards.Support data input and maintenance for new SKU set–up and master data.Contribute to data–led tools and improvements for future supply chain offerings.
