Our client is a leading food distributor experiencing significant growth and is looking for a Stock Controller to join their busy warehouse operation in Glasgow.

The Role

As Stock Controller, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating stock discrepancies and working closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure stock integrity across the site.

Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock records within the warehouse management system Carrying out regular cycle counts and stock audits Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies Producing stock and inventory reports for management Working closely with warehouse, goods–in and dispatch teams to ensure stock accuracy Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock control processes Ensuring compliance with company procedures and food safety standards

About You

Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or Stock Administrator role Experience within food distribution, FMCG, logistics or a high–volume warehouse environment Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel Strong organisational and problem–solving abilities The confidence to investigate issues and work collaboratively with operational teams A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
