Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes and track corrective and preventive actions.

Analyse SHE performance data to identify trends, prioritise risks and highlight opportunities for improvement.

Support environmental permit compliance, pollution prevention, waste management and sustainability initiatives.

Help maintain legal, hazard and environmental aspects and impacts registers, and develop, review and communicate SHE policies, standards and guidance.

Work with Regional SHE Managers and Advisors to promote consistent risk controls, and with the SHE Training Manager to deliver awareness, training and engagement initiatives.

Support engagement with enforcing authorities, customers, insurers and external auditors, visiting company, contractor and customer locations as required.

Demonstrable experience in risk assessment, risk control, compliance management, incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Knowledge of UK and Irish health and safety legislation and management system standards.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence operational managers at all levels.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout your assigned region.

A practical, solutions–focused approach, sound judgement and professional integrity.

The organisation and attention to detail to manage competing priorities, work independently and contribute to a wider SHE team.

The ability to build effective relationships and handle confidential information with discretion.
