Our client is one of the world's largest logistics platforms and we're recruiting for an Ocean Freight Forwarder to join their Exports team in Manchester.

Your tasks will include:

Understanding and applying all necessary processes, documentation, and terminology involved in ocean exports and Customs.Coordinating shipments to meet customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including booking approvals, pre–alerts, governmental filings, and invoicing.Collaborating with our international team and third–party agents to ensure efficiency, exceptional customer service, and creative problem–solving.Building strong relationships with customers, providing timely responses, and following up on issue resolution.Participating in customer business reviews and providing reporting and documentation support to both internal and external customers.

What We're Looking For:

Solid experience in Global Forwarding, specifically focused on ocean exports and Customs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.A proven track record of strong customer service, with a client–focused mindset.Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast–paced, deadline–driven environment.Critical–thinking skills and flexibility to adapt to ever–changing tasks and customer needs.
