Job Summary

We are seeking for reliable and skilled van drivers to join our team in the borough of Westminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods while ensuring excellent customer service. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 35kg.

Responsibilities

Safely drive the van to deliver goods to designated locations.

Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring goods are secured properly.

Communicate effectively with your point of contact regarding delivery schedules and any issues.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working order.

Maintain accurate delivery records, noting any discrepancies or damages.

Adhere to traffic laws and company policies at all times while on the road.

Qualifications

A full valid manual driver's license with a clean driving record.

A maximum of 6 points on the driving license.

Minimum of two years of driving experience.

Ability to pass a basic disclosure check.

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling deliveries.

Vehicle Requirements

You will need a Long Wheelbase (LWB) van, no older than 4 years, with appropriate insurance: Goods in Transit, Public Liability, and Carriage of Goods for Hire and Reward.

If you don't have your own van, we can assist with vehicle hire, which includes insurance, servicing, and maintenance.

GBP250 per week for an LWB ULEZ van, including the Carriage of Goods for Hire and Reward insurance and maintenance.

Compensation

You will be paid based on the work completed, with daily earnings ranging from GBP130 to GBP300, depending on performance (based on our drivers' averages).
