Pay / salary – 14.54 per hour ( 28,353 basic) overtime available

Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for Laboratory Technician for our client based in Tewkesbury, who specialise in the production and distribution of Milk products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Laboratory Technician wanting to grow their skills and be a part of a friendly team.

Duties for this Laboratory Technician role are as follows:

Conduct sampling and microbiological testing of products to maintain quality control.Analyse and interpret results, detecting any irregularities to ensure compliance with company and legislative standards.Keep laboratory areas organized, adhering to all COSHH, Health & Safety, and Food Safety protocols.Desirable Skills:

Previous laboratory experience in the dairy or food industry.Knowledge of microbiology, food hygiene, and quality control standardsHours for this Laboratory Tech role are as follows

Working 5 of 7 days a week rotating from Monday – Sunday

Weekdays: Weekday shifts rotate between 05:30, 06:00, 07:00 & 12:00

Saturday: Saturday at 08:00, Sunday at 06:00

The pay for this Laboratory Technician role within the logistics and distribution sector is:

14.54 per hour with a minimum paid 37.5 hours per week

– 30 days per annum annual leave (pro rata) + an additional 3 days annual leave once 3 years' service is complete (once permanent)
