We are working with a well-established freight forwarding business that is looking to appoint an experienced Import Coordinator to join their growing road freight team. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with a strong background in road freight imports who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Role

As an Import Coordinator, you will take full ownership of road freight import shipments from start to finish, ensuring all movements are handled efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end road freight import consignmentsLiaise with European hauliers, overseas agents, and customersPrepare and process import documentation, including CMRs and customs paperworkTrack and monitor shipments, proactively resolving delays or issuesEnsure compliance with customs regulations and internal proceduresProvide clear, timely communication and updates to customersMaintain accurate records using freight management systemsAbout You

Proven experience coordinating road freight imports (essential)Solid understanding of import documentationStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple shipments in a time-sensitive environmentCustomer-focused with a proactive, solutions-driven mindsetExperience using freight or logistics systems is advantageous
