HGV Class 1 Drivers - Kettering HGV1 (C+E) Drivers required!Location: KetteringPay: GBP18.00 Days / GBP19.50 Nights / GBP21 Sat / GBP22 SunThe Role Average shift length: 10-12 hours7-day operation (working week runs Sunday to Saturday)AM shifts: typically start between 04:00-06:00PM shifts: typically start between 16:00-19:00Average of 2 drops per shift, plus collectionsCurtain-sided vehicles - generally no handball; any occasional handball is very lightDelivery area spans: North: up to MansfieldWest: WednesburySouth: as far as ThatchamEast: as far as Lowestoft Delivering cardboard packaging products Key Responsibilities Safely operate and drive HGV 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods to designated locationsPlan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveriesPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthinessAdhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulationsMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionCommunicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics team membersShifts are booked daily with shift confirmation times texted to you the day before Requirements Valid HGV 1 C+E licenceUp-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC CardMin 12 months HGV Class 1 C+E experienceStrong understanding of road safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWe will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
