HGV Class 2 Driver (full time and part time available)

Job Overview

Griffins Group is a family run transport company located in Tuxford. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV multi drop day driver to join our Logistics Division. The suitable candidate will be required to carry out multi drop deliveries and collections in and around the local area, returning to base at the end of each day. Full time and part time available.

Duties to include:

Following run sheets to delivery and collection points.

Updating a PDA.

Tail lift deliveries using electric pallet trucks.

Keep in contact with Traffic Team with progress throughout the day.

Full induction and training provided.

Monday to Friday working with 8am start.

Rota for Saturday morning working - minimum of 4 hours pay (approx 5 Saturdays per year or more possible if preferred).

Bonuses

Safe driving bonus GBP200 every six months.

Fuel bonus - amount varies depending on fuel return.

Company uniform and PPE provided.

Own truck for day shift.

Drive-in automatic truck wash.

Free on-site parking.

Company pension.

20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays.

Pay is monthly on the last Thursday of each month.

The successful candidate must have a valid HGV license, CPC card and digital tachograph card.

Additional GBP1 per hour paid as required for ADR Class 2.
