Our client, a major company based in Chelmsford, is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis. Both day and night trunking shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities for HGV Class 1 Driver:

Carry out HGV Class 1 trunking work safely and efficiently. Complete scheduled trunking runs between designated locations. Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly. Ensure all journeys are completed in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements. Complete relevant delivery and vehicle documentation accurately. Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations. Maintain professional communication with depot staff, customers and other road users. Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Shift & Benefits

Weekly pay. Opportunity to work with a major transport and logistics company. Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. Minimum 6 years' driving experience in the UK. Minimum age of 21 years. Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence. Previous HGV Class 1 experience is preferred. Good communication skills. Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
