Forge Logistics Ltd, a veteran-owned transport company, proudly partners with the world's largest online retailer. We're growing our team right here at our Botany Bay depot in Chorley ! We need reliable, safety-conscious HGV Class 1 Drivers . If you're looking for straightforward work just moving trailers, with no load handling involved, this is the perfect opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
This is a pure driving role with ZERO load handling involved. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Moving trailers from fulfilment centres to delivery stations.
No load handling - it's all driving
Shifts vary, so flexibility is essential
Routes and schedules provided via a simple, driver-friendly app
Conducting essential pre- and post-vehicle checks
Strictly adherence to Tacho and Working Time Directive rules .
Various shift patterns are available, including a main 4 on / 4 off rota , with afternoon, and night shifts . Part-time options are also available. Flexibility is essential.
What We Offer:
Compensation:
GBP160 per shift (Monday-Friday)
GBP175 per shift (Saturday-Sunday)
_(3 months Probationary rate: GBP150/GBP165 per shift )_
Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts.
PAYE employment with holiday pay and Statutory Sick Pay.
Drive a modern Iveco CNG fleet (71/72 plate) , fully refreshed fleet every 5 years .
Free on-site parking.

What We Require:
A minimum of 1 year's regular HGV Class 1 driving experience .
At least 1 year of night driving experience .
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and a professional, "can-do" attitude.
A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card .
