HGV 7.5T driver

Description

We are seeking a professional HGV 7.5T driver to join our logistics team that specialises in UPV Plastics, The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5–tonne lorry, primarily for delivery purposes across various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to utilise their skills in a dynamic and organised environment, ensuring timely and secure deliveries to our clients.

Duties

Safely operate a 7.5–tonne lorry for scheduled deliveries and collections Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring the integrity of cargo during transit Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to road safety regulations Conduct daily vehicle checks, Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered Ensure compliance with all relevant driving legislation and company policies at all times Requirements

Valid HGV 7.5T licence with a clean driving record (maximum 3 points) Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with side curtain vehicles and delivery routes Familiarity with road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving Experience with loading and securing cargo. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively Good communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members Ability to work independently and responsibly, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism Please call (phone number removed) or (phone number removed)
