Head of Supply Chain

Location: London – Near Liverpool Station 3 days a week – Hybrid

Summary:

We are working with a fantastic SME business that genuinely values its people and is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Supply Chain to join its growing team. This is a broad and influential role for a commercially minded supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast–paced environment, making decisions, and driving improvements. You will take ownership of key supply chain activities while leading and developing a team and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a self–starter who is confident making decisions quickly, comfortable challenging existing processes, and capable of taking ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the supply chain team, creating a high–performing and collaborative cultureManage end–to–end supply chain activities across demand planning, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and supplier performanceDevelop accurate demand forecasts and ensure supply plans align with business requirementsAnalyse demand trends, customer requirements, and historical data to improve forecast accuracyTake ownership of CRM systems and ensure accurate and effective use of supply chain dataWork extensively with Zoho CRM, using the system to manage information, reporting, and customer/supply chain activityMonitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve supply chain performanceWork closely with sales, operations, finance, and other internal teamsManage supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply and service issuesIdentify risks within the supply chain and implement appropriate solutionsDrive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and ways of workingMake fast, commercially sound decisions in a time–sensitive environment

Key Skills/Experience:

Proven experience operating at Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager, or similar senior levelStrong experience across demand planning and forecastingExcellent understanding of end–to–end supply chain operationsExtensive CRM experience, ideally including ZohoProven experience managing and developing teamsHighly analytical with strong attention to detailConfident working with data, KPIs, and performance reportingA self–starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to doStrong decision–making skills and comfortable working under pressureCommercially aware with a practical and solutions–focused approachExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProcessing Your Data
