Description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Gateman to join our team on an upcoming project based near Tonbridge. This is a key site-based role responsible for controlling access to site and ensuring that all visitors, deliveries and personnel are managed safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will work closely with the site management team to maintain site security, support site logistics and ensure all access procedures are followed in line with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Control and monitor all access to and from the construction site
Greet and sign in visitors, deliveries and contractors
Maintain accurate records of site attendance and deliveries
Direct vehicles and visitors to the correct location on site
Ensure only authorised personnel gain access to the site
Maintain clear communication with the site management team
Ensure the entrance and surrounding areas remain safe and tidy
Monitor site security and report any concerns or incidents
Adhere to all health & safety policies and site procedures

Requirements

Valid CSCS card (essential)
Previous construction site experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good awareness of site safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Ability to remain alert and organised in a busy site environment
