We're looking for a skilled Forklift Operator who takes pride in keeping the gears of commerce turning. If you're a safety–first professional with the finesse to navigate tight aisles and the drive to hit daily targets, we want you on our team in Peterlee.

The Role

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of industrial trucks to ensure our supply chain keeps moving. This is a 24–month fixed–term assignment running until November 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse environment.Navigate tight storage aisles with precision, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times.Maintain high performance and output consistency to reach daily operational targets.Conduct routine equipment checks and adhere to strict site safety protocols.Communicate effectively with the wider logistics team to ensure smooth material flow.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of professional FLT/Forklift Truck operating experience.Hold a valid Counterbalance licence (note: licences that are out of date are accepted).Possess an accredited certification (e.g., RTITB, ITSAAR). Please note: In–house certificates are not accepted.
