Salary: circa. 55,000pa (DOE)

Are you an experienced Fine Art Handler or Technician based in London? Are you looking for an exciting new role, playing a key part in ensuring the safe and secure transportation and installation of fine art pieces? This role could be excellent for you!

My client is looking for an experienced Fine Art Technician to be responsible for managing the entire logistics process, from packing, crating, and loading artworks to transporting them to their final destinations.

Working Hours: Full Time – Monday – Friday – Overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely handle and transport high–value artworks for galleries, museums, private collectors, and exhibitions.Packing and crating of artworks to ensure secure transportation.Load and unload artwork into and from vehicles, ensuring careful handling and attention to detail.Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to transport fine art items across the UK.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during transportation.Assist with the installation and de–installation of artworks at exhibition sites when required.Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid HGV Licence (Category C or CE) is essential.Previous experience in handling, packing, or transporting fine art or other fragile, high–value items.Knowledge of best practices for art handling, packing, and transportation.Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for working with high–value art.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend work or travel.Strong problem–solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Full right to work in the UK.WR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
