Job Overview
My client is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver's Mate to join our logistics team. This role involves supporting the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in logistics and transportation.
Duties
Assist the driver in preparing the vehicle Execute any special requests from customers Check all deliveries once they have been dropped at the final destination Support the driver in navigating routes and adhering to delivery schedules Assist the driver in checking the run sheets and picking orders Make customers aware of any stock shortages Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to Qualifications
