Customer Operations Manager

Salary: 46,000 (with some flex)

Location: Leeds (hybrid working 2–3 days)

We're excited to be recruiting for a Customer Operations Manager to join a leading FMCG organisation within their Supply Chain team.

This is a key role managing day–to–day supply chain operations, leading a small team, and overseeing relationships with a Third–Party Logistics (3PL) provider. You'll support wider business strategy, drive process improvement, and foster collaboration across teams.

You'll report to the Head of Supply Chain and manage three direct reports within the supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and implement operational and process improvements across the supply chain.Manage relationships with 3PL partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.Drive efficiency, innovation, and best practice within day–to–day operations.Oversee demand, inventory, and order management to ensure service excellence.Champion continuous improvement and build a culture of collaboration and accountability.Support the delivery of wider supply chain strategy and performance goals.Skills required:

Experience in leading operations or supply chain teams within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar environment.Proven track record in driving process improvement and delivering measurable results.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.Excellent communication and relationship–building skills across all levels.Confident using Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or ERP systems desirable (training provided).Proactive, organised, and comfortable in a fast–paced, collaborative environment.
