Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Bedford for our customer, a British retailer, WHSmith.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, with the start time window of 14:00 - 18:00. Although you will be contracted to work any 5 days from 7, the regular shift patterns for this contract are predominately set as: Tuesday - Saturday, Sunday - Thursday and Monday - Friday (with flexibility needed to cover weekends when necessary).

What you will do on a typical day:

Deliver and collect goods to and from customer stores, including airports, hospitals and service stations (1 - 5 drops per shift)Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient mannerComplete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on timeBe compliant with Driver's hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Full UK driving licence with category C entitlementNo more than 6 current penalty pointsNo DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 yearsPrevious experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
