HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) Location: North Birmingham / Runcorn / Warrington (Multiple Locations)

About the Role My Key Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of a well–established logistics business operating across the Midlands and the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for ongoing, stable work with a reputable employer. Whether you prefer trunking, RDC deliveries or depot–to–depot work, we have a variety of shift patterns available.

Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicle. Complete trunking and scheduled deliveries to distribution centres and customer sites. Carry out daily vehicle defect checks and report any faults. Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time. Complete delivery paperwork accurately using handheld devices or delivery documentation. Comply with all Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation. Maintain high standards of professionalism when representing the business. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Class 1 drivers are typically responsible for vehicle safety checks, delivery paperwork, route planning, compliance with driver hours rules and the secure transportation of goods. Requirements Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence. Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card. Digital Tachograph Card. Good understanding of Driver Hours Regulations. Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements). Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred A professional attitude with excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
