Day Shifts 08.00 to 20.00

We are looking for reliable and confident Car Drivers to support operations at the port of Southampton. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy practical, hands–on work and are comfortable driving a range of vehicles in a busy port environment.

The role

Working as part of the vehicle operations team, you will be responsible for moving new cars safely and efficiently around the port.

Discharging and dispatching vehiclesDriving and manoeuvring cars and vans in tight spacesFollowing site procedures and maintaining high standards of safety at all times

What we're looking for

A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 yearNo more than 6 points on your licenceConfidence driving and manoeuvring cars and vansA reliable, punctual and safety–conscious approachPrevious port, compound, driving or vehicle–handling experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
