Up to GBP26,000 p/a, Pease Pottage, Monday to Friday, shifts flexible between 7am-4pm or 10am-6pm, Permanent, 28 days annual leave inc bank holidays.

The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics operation based in Pease Pottage. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of stock within a high-density warehouse environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the wider warehouse team to meet daily operational targets.

Operate Bendi/flexi/pivot forklifts within narrow aisles and high racking systemsLoad and unload goods from vehicles and storage areasAccurately relocate and stack products as per inventory guidelinesPerform daily equipment checks and report faultsAdhere to all health and safety protocols and warehouse proceduresSupport inventory checks and stock rotationUse handheld scanners and warehouse systemsCollaborate effectively across departments to achieve targetsMaintain a clean and safe working environment RequirementsA valid, in-date pivot, bendi or flexi Forklift Licence is essential to operate an Aisle Master forklift -please note, in-house licences cannot be accepted. Extensive experience in fast-paced warehouse or logistics settings is highly desirable, and prior exposure to 3PL environments would be beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate strong spatial awareness, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
