Leica Summicron 90mm f/2 pre-asph (rare E49 filter version)

Description

I’m selling this fast telephoto lens for M-mount bodies. It’s the second-to-last version, just before the aspherical one. Performance is perfectly respectable even on an M11, and it’s accurately calibrated.

Worth noting: this is the (very rare) version with 49mm filter thread. It has the advantage of being lighter than the more common E55 version, though the hood covers the aperture ring when collapsed.

The lens is in excellent condition:
∙ Cosmetically perfect or nearly so: only very slight signs of use
∙ Optically excellent: clean elements, some minor dust normal for its age with no impact on image quality
∙ Smooth and precise focusing
∙ Clean diaphragm, no oil, precise and easy-to-use aperture ring
∙ No fungus or haze
