Retail Travel Consultant - About the Role

As a Retail Travel Consultant, you’ll be providing expert advice, delivering outstanding service, and creating tailor-made travel experiences. You’ll be working with a wide variety of suppliers, from mainstream tour operators to cruise lines and DMCs, as well as using dynamic packaging tools to offer flexible, personalised solutions.

This is a hands-on, sales-focused role that would suit someone with previous experience working in a retail travel agency environment and a strong desire to build long-lasting customer relationships.

Retail Travel Consultant - Duties:

* Creating unforgettable holidays globally from, Monaco to Australia and giving clients that big holiday grin.

* Provide expert travel advice and deliver outstanding customer service.

* Convert holiday enquiries into bookings, meeting and exceeding personal sales targets.

* Selling a broad range of travel products including package holidays, cruise, dynamic packages, city breaks, and tailormade itineraries.

* Build relationships with customers and follow up on enquiries to secure repeat business.

* Stay up to date with travel trends, products and destinations

Travel Consultant Essential Requirements:

* Experience in a retail travel agency role is essential, we would consider a tour operator background within sales.

* Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

* Excellent destination knowledge and confidence in selling a wide range of holiday types

* Ability to work 5 days a week (store is closed Sundays and BH)

* Enthusiasm for travel and commitment to delivering excellent service
