Business Travel Consultant

Our client is an award winning global travel management organisation. They are seeking an experienced Italian-speaking Business Travel Consultant to join its fast-paced and customer-focused team.

This role will suit a professional Business Travel Consultant who thrives in a high-touch environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to clients.

The role will involve:

Advising on and arranging all aspects of business travel and related services, including airline bookings (scheduled, charter and low-cost), rail, ferries, self-drive and chauffeur-driven car hire, hotels, passports, visas, health requirements, fares, foreign currency, theatre tickets, excess baggage and additional travel services as required

Completing and issuing a wide range of travel documentation such as itineraries, booking forms, air, rail and ferry tickets, car hire and hotel vouchers, foreign currency documentation, invoices and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and clear presentation

Managing travel requests efficiently, ensuring minimal turnaround times and smooth day-to-day operations

Providing a consistently high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders

To be successful, you will have:

A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Business Travel Consultant, ideally supporting high-touch, fast-paced corporate accounts

Experience using Sabre (GDS training can be provided if required)

A flexible approach to workload, with the ability to support additional tasks when needed

A professional, calm and customer-focused approach at all times

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines accurately xjnqpsq

Excellent attention to detail and a confident working style

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Good technical ability and confidence using travel systems

The ability to work at pace and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
