Role Responsibilities – Interior plant displays

• Watering of plants and orchids on regular basis

• Cleaning of plants and planters

• Feeding plants with organic preparation during the growing season

• Pruning plants to retain shape/reduce size as necessary

• Tidying and removing any dead or dying plant material or other debris from display

• Changing plants where necessary and re-planting using correct plant for the location

• Checking for pests and treating with approved organic pest control substances

• Maintaining soil and top-dressing levels in plant displays

• Communicate effectively with clients on site and feedback any comments/concerns to UG Director immediately

• Responsible and correct care of all equipment issued

Key Skills & Requirements

• Relevant experience and good plant knowledge advantageous but not essential as full training given

• Be able to get up in the mornings as we start very early most days

• Commercial sites in Surrey, surrounding areas and London so must be confident driving small van when required

• Physically fit and hard working

• Punctual, polite and enthusiastic

• Responsible

• Flexible 'can do' attitude.

• Self-motivated and happy to work alone or part of small team as necessary

• Smart appearance – uniform provided
