Live-in Couple – Weekend Family Home near Haslemere, West Sussex

We are a friendly family of five with three children aged 9, 12 and 14, looking for an experienced and proactive couple to help care for and manage our much-loved weekend home near Haslemere in West Sussex. We have a cockapoo so the applicant needs to be dog friendly.

This role would suit a reliable, self-motivated couple with previous experience working in a private household who enjoy taking pride in a home and its surroundings. The position involves the overall care and smooth running of the property both inside and out.

Key responsibilities will include property care and management, gardening, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and general household organisation. When the family is in residence, you will have to cook for the family and any guests, so being a confident and capable cook is important. Ordering groceries and household supplies will also form part of the role.

We live in London during the week and typically visit the house a couple of weekends each month, as well as during some school holidays. Because the property is often unoccupied, we are looking for a couple who are happy working independently, who are organised, communicative and take pride in ensuring the home is always beautifully maintained and ready to welcome family or guests at any time.

The role comes with a self-contained two-bedroom cottage on the property, providing comfortable private accommodation.

Due to the location of the house, a driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
