Gardener / Handyman

Oscar’s Gardening and Handyman Solutions are offering a conscientious hard-working person to join us part time possible leading to full time.

We are doing all aspects of gardening from weeding to complex landscaping projects however main duties comprise: Lawn moving, hedge trimming, general gardening, instalment raised beds and of patios, pressure washing, pond installation and fencing.

Successful applicant is:

Punctual

Have an eye for details

Hard working

Have a valid driving licence and vehicle large enough to carry lawnmower etc

As most jobs are outdoors you must be flexible as to when to work as days may change due unpredictable weather.

Have excellent communication skills

During prolonged spells of heavy rain we do all sorts of Handy-work so if you are able to assist with painting/wall papering, hanging shelf/mirror/picture, installation of curtain rails and similar task that is hugely advantageous.

Most wages are paid weekly by BACS, so please refrain from asking for Cash in Hand, although this is sometimes an option. Rate: £13 - 20 p.h. depending on nature of job. Most jobs are paid at £13 p.h..
