Up for sale is my Freelander 2 GS – a solid, capable 4x4 that just needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to full strength. This one’s a manual 2.2 diesel, still being driven weekly (Hereford runs no problem), but showing the “Restricted Performance” message due to a likely turbo fault. It still starts, drives, and stops — not dead, just down on boost.
Would suit:
• Mechanics or DIYers who want a cheap Freelander fix
• Overland/camper conversion base
• Anyone wanting a rugged winter/work/family truck at a bargain

• Drives and starts first time
• Clean and tidy interior – nothing to be embarrassed about
• Nice bodywork with some minor age-related marks
• Two keys
• V5 present
• Decent service history
• 6-speed manual – pulls well even with the turbo issue
• Great tyres and brakes – stops confidently
• Still taxed/MOT’d (check for exact dates)
