The MOT has expired simply because of repeated time‑wasters not turning up, and we no longer have the time to take it in now that it’s off the road. It’s been parked on our drive for the past month, but it starts up perfectly. The engine light has recently come on (photos available showing it wasn’t previously illuminated). It will also need brake work and a routine service, which were due at the same time as the MOT.
