FOR SALE: 2005 Land Rover Defender TD5 – A Proper Sorted Example
This isn’t your typical worn-out Defender that’s seen better days. My 2005 TD5 has just 95,500 genuine miles – very low for one of these tough vehicles.
I’ve enjoyed this as my hobby car, spending time carrying out little jobs properly because I love these things. It’s in excellent condition throughout:
• Perfect chassis with no rust issues
• Completely clean MOT history – check the history on the images attached

• New track rod ends and ball joints

It looks fantastic, sounds brilliant (the TD5 engine note is unbeatable in my opinion), and drives superbly. The heater even works properly – no issues there. Always gets compliments and turns heads.
Selling to fund a new project, otherwise I’d keep it forever.

Mine is the earlier TD5 engine – many enthusiasts (including me) prefer it for the raw character, better sound, and simpler electronics.

The TD5 is seen as the last “proper” Defender engine before the changes. This one’s lightly tuned and very well maintained, so it goes great while keeping that classic feel.

The tune just allows it to be used in modern traffic, a popular mod.

Good TD5s like this are highly sought after.
