Vintage light box - ON AIR - light up working
Largish metal light box with perspex facia spelling ON AIR in red letters. Box is gunmetal coloured. Its a cool shape that allows mounting from various positions depending on the angle you need. Once a stage light. Amazing patina that can't be replicated. Oozing character and cool!
Lovely vintage item repurposed.
The light works to deliver nice soft glow. Rewired for domestic use with new cloth covered wire and plug,
Box opens from front to allow fascia to slide in and for bulb replacement.
It lies nicely on a flat surface or has bracket to hang.
NOT PAT TESTED.
Box is approx 25 x 25 x 25cm without the bracket.
Obviously used condition so box will have many dents, marks, minor scratches, sticker marks, and wear consistent with age and use. It may have minor rust spots, old sticker marks, scratches, loss of paint and splash of paint here and there. All adds to the character and only mentioned for completeness and to ensure bidders are not expecting new pristine items. Awesome vintage item.
This lightbox is working but since I am not an electrician I have not PAT tested it.
