Ramsay of Forfar Aluminium Platform Step Ladder:
Solid vintage aluminium platform steps made by Ramsay of Forfar, Scotland. Still has the original maker's plate (Forfar, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London). Built properly and heavy-duty, they don't make them like this any more.
• Aluminium construction, light to carry but sturdy
• Large slatted platform at the top
• Folding steps with spreader bars
• Hinges and bars all work smoothly
• Shows its age, with some paint splashes and general wear, as you'd expect from a working ladder
Great for decorating and general jobs around the house, or as a vintage/industrial-style plant stand or garden display piece. Sold as seen Collection only from Merchiston. Cash on collection. Happy to answer questions.
