One of the most individual superbikes of modern times, this is the ultimate RC8, the RC8 R. Genuinely a very special bike, with monstrous performance from it’s 175 ps / 93 lb/ft 75 deg V-Twin. Out of production for many years, and never very commonplace, these bikes are few and far between, and this one has just 3 owners, 5800 miles, and nice options fitted which include a JCE Exhaust, Power Commander, Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied all over, Oberon clutch slave cylinder, KTM Supersprox rear sprocket, Radiator guard, Alloy paddock stand bobbins and Tank pad

The specification is hugely impressive, and has Keihin engine management with twin throttle valves per cylinder, Twin plugs per cylinder and adjustable cam timing, Chrome-Moly trellis frame with powder coated subframe and adjustable light alloy swingarm, Fully adjustable WP suspension, Fully adjustable WP steering damper, Aluminium diecast lightweight Marchesini rims, Adjustable footrests and levers, Adjustable brake/clutch levers, handlebars and seat height, Brembo radial 4 pot calipers with 320mm dia. discs, Brembo radial front brake master cylinder, Brembo rear brake caliper, Magura radial clutch master cylinder, Lap timer and Multifunction trip computer.

Adjustability is the watchword, everything is adjustable. The RC8 R’s raison d’etre was to offer in effect a ‘kit’ race motorcycle that could be enhanced easily through the use of KTM’s extensive Powerparts range. Whether for fast road, track, or full on short circuit racing, these bikes could be very easily and cost effectively modified, and that is why the base package offered so much. A really high spec. machine ‘out of the crate’ so to speak.

Sargent of Copthorne for 17 years, building a solid reputation, through 1000s of sales, for supplying high quality vehicles, with an honest and dependable approach. In May 2011, we relocated from our native Copthorne to the beautiful rural countryside in the heart of ‘1066 Country’ between historic Battle and picturesque Rye in East Sussex. Our trading name changed accordingly, but our business remains the same.

Sargents of Sussex is run by Damon Sargent. A lifelong enthusiast, motor cars were instilled in his blood from a long family background of motor and mechanical engineers. Now in it's thirty second year the business continues to run with an enthusiasm and integrity that is higher than ever, with according specialist knowledge of the stock. We pride ourselves on a 'traditional values' approach to our customers and will always make every effort to resolve any issues, should they arise. Indeed, we value repeat business very highly and are delighted to say that many customers return because they have determined to buy only from us.

Our core business now concentrates on motorcycle sales and we have sold numerous bikes from Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha, to name but a few. Our key market is sports bikes, but we have a significant interest in stocking the ever more popular 'naked street bikes' as well as mainstream sports tourers and commuters, and the more niche market supermoto and enduros, as well as the odd classic. Against any of our sales bikes, we welcome cars or other bikes in part exchange against them. As ever, our long term partners at Meridian Finance can offer all manner of lending solutions against these machines.

The Sargent family have been involved in the motor trade for a great many years now. The great grandfather of Damon Sargent, Henry James Sargent, began trading, in East Grinstead, in the early 1920's and built a successful business, Sargents of East Grinstead Ltd., which remained for 60 years until finally closed in the early 1980's. We are proud to follow in the family tradition.

Based in East Sussex between Battle and Rye, we are surprisingly accessible being just 5 minutes from the A21, and a little under 1 hour south of M25 Junction 5 for customers travelling from the motorway network.
