Care and installation
As solid oak is a natural timber product, variations in colour, grain, knots and other markings are completely normal. These natural characteristics are not faults and help make every worktop unique.
Worktops should be treated on all sides and edges with a suitable worktop oil before installation. Particular attention should be given to cut-outs, joints and areas around sinks or other sources of moisture.
Periodic re-oiling will help protect the timber and maintain its appearance. If necessary, the surface can also be lightly sanded and refinished, helping extend the lifespan of the worktop.
