Internal transfer WAVs enable Wheelchair users to drive from a powered 6-way seat (up/down, forward/backward, rotate) that swivels 90 degrees. The User typically enters the vehicle via an Automated Tailgate & Rear Ramp, secure their Wheelchair behind the driver seat, and perform a seated transfer using grab handles. To Use the Internal Transfer Driver's Seat, the remote control is used to open the Tailgate and Access Ramp to enter the vehicle. Lock your Wheelchair into place using the automated locking system or manual straps provided. Prepare to transfer to drivers Seat using the 6-way seat controls to swivel the driver's seat 90 degrees toward the Wheelchair and adjust the height for an easy transfer. Transfer from your Wheelchair to the driver's seat, utilizing grab handles. Once in the seat, use the controls to swivel back to the front, move forward into the steering position, and adjust to the optimal height and distance. Operate the vehicle using adapted controls (e.g., push/pull hand controls for Footbrake and accelerator) or standard pedals.
