Keys player wanted for Edinburgh/Lothians based band.
We're Fabletown, a band from Edinburgh and the Lothians who play an original and eclectic collection of music. Our material blends modern British and American folk, blues, country and rock'n' rol influences to produce a fresh, multi-instrumental sound which is uniquely ours.

Our songs are tales of love, loss and loathing with plenty of menacing, foot-tapping honky-tonk; full on rock'n roll, raucous folk-blues and the occasional dark foreboding ballad with three-part harmonies, guitar, fiddle and percussion.
We've released one album so far, and our keys player has other commitments so we have an opening - ideally you'll have some gigging/studio experience, be happy taking solos/jamming and helping out with writing/arranging songs. Everyone in the band takes a part in writing/arranging, and if you want to sing that's great too. We have another album's worth of material we are arranging recording and mixing. We practice Thursdays and squeeze in recording/vocal practices where we can
We're looking to get gigging again we play live usually a few times a year but we're looking to get out there more in 2026.
We usually practice once a week in Leith, and sometimes at each other's houses to do songwriting/recording.
