The ZX4 RR is a nod to the late 80's and early 90's when the streets were awash with 400cc mini superbikes screaming to their 16,000 rpm red line. Every manufacturer produced them and they all came to these shores as grey imports - apart from Kawasaki's officially imported ZXR 400. Move on 30 years and we have its latest incarnation the ZX4 RR, with Kawasaki still being the only manufacturer to offer this superb lightweight class of machine. Featuring ABS, traction control, adjustable Showa suspension front and rear plus four rider modes - Sport, Road, Rain along with User defined, an up / down Quickshifter and the Kawasaki ram air system that releases the bikes 80 horses, all making the ZX4 RR a worthy successor to the original for todays roads even though it may have lost its hoover pipes., This fantastic 2,382 mile example fitted with a Scorpion Red Power slip on can has just been given a service by ourselves, comes with both keys, owners manual, Datatag and is just waiting for spring - which won't be long now. About Us:
The business was established by Barry Utting who has been in the motorcycle trade since 1978. He started at age 14 as a Saturday boy at DRD Motorcycles in North Walsham,Norfolk, before starting Crown Motorcycles near Norwich at age 23. A move to Cumbria led to the creation of Penrith Motorcycles.

Barry still has the Suzuki T250 Hustler that he bought in 1979 along with old Yamaha TZ250’s that he used to race, and a W650 Kawasaki.

Workshop technician and MOT tester Alan Wright joined the firm in 2005. He has owned many varied machines over the years and currently runs an Enfield 500 and a Honda CRF 300.

Alan Long has been a valued customer since 1991 and has now worked with us for a number of years. He cleans and prepares the showroom bikes to our exacting standards. Alan now runs a BMW R1200R.

Jonny Walker has been a loyal customer since 1991 and is now also working on preparation of our showroom machines. He loves the classic 2-strokes and has had a number of Yamaha LCs. Currently has a Kawasaki Z400.

Tony Borgogno joined the team in April 2022 having been another long term customer of ours. He currently has a Suzuki GSX1400 and works in our sales and marketing department so if you want a bike give him a rin
