This facelift model XK8 with 4.2 litre engine and 6 speed automatic is superior to the 4.0 litre variant in terms of reliability and drivability. This example has covered a genuine low mileage and is particularly nice to drive with responsive engine and smooth gear change. Ride quality is very good and consistent with low mileage with no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive. Premium tyres all round with approx 5/6mm front and 3/4mm rear. A classic Jaguar interior specification with Dove Grey Leather, Burr Walnut Trim including the steering wheel and heated seats. The leather is all in excellent condition with no ingrained dirt or excess wear to bolster or base. The carpets are very clean with no ingrained dirt or excess wear. The headlining is tight with no sagging. An extremely clean interior with no wear damage to buttons etc. Engine bay and all door shuts are extremely clean. Never smoked in, original lighter never used and no lingering smells.
