Trade Desk Support Analyst

Location: E14. Contract Type: Temporary. Contract Length: 12 months. Hybrid

Daily Rate: £348 per day PAYE

As a Trade Desk Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and understanding the physical and financial positions within the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system. This position offers a unique chance to be part of a collaborative team that drives innovation and continuous improvement in trading processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely updates to the trading capture system throughout the lifecycle of each deal.

Conduct daily analysis and reporting of earnings, exposure, and mark-to-market to assess and explain business performance.

Collaborate closely with team members across trading, finance, risk control, and operations to manage and interpret commodity earnings and exposure.

Work as part of global teams to identify and implement process improvements through innovative digital solutions.About You:

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification).

Proven ability to achieve results through ethical practises.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Strong time management and prioritisation capabilities.

An analytical and innovative thinker with the ability to leverage technology for solutions and efficiencies. Advantageous Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Power BI.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.

Understanding of commodity trading terminology.
