Description

Technical Architect / 6 Month Contract / Milton Keynes / Inside IR35 / £640 / Hybrid – 3 days onsite

An architect resource is required to support a major government body with the delivery and management of key national security capabilities. You will be working with customers, engineering and development teams to support the solution whilst providing key technical inputs and governance.

Essential Skills:

Experience in relevant roles, including technologies in enterprise and virtual environments and of working within a secure environment

Experience of server/operating system (Microsoft and Linux), network technologies, as a minimum

Hybrid Cloud,

Gateways,

PKI,

Email,

VMware virtualisation platforms (including VCD, VSAN, and NSX),

SASE architecture,

Cisco

Palo Alto

Experience creating technical and architectural documents such as options assessments, low and high-level technical designs.

DevSecOps experience in automation and improvement in development and release processes (Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery).

Experience of requirements management and the ownership of requirements.

Experience in design and migration to public cloud capabilities in M365/Azure and AWS.

Working knowledge of auditing and security products configuration. xjnqpsq

A comprehensive understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and NIST IT security principles, along with experience in UK government technology strategies and policies.My client is looking for a Security Cleared candidate or eligible to secure Security Clearance
