Solution Architect - Huawei OSS

Hays are now looking for a Solution Architect / OSS Design (Huawei OSS) for one of our local clients.

£500 p/d Inside IR35

Hybrid - Bristol

12 Month Contract

The Solution Architect / OSS Design Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuity of a critical element‑management platform. The role focuses on maintaining high service availability, ensuring accurate performance and alarm data delivery, and resolving platform and data‑feed issues.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and optimise the OSS element‑management platform to ensure consistent performance and availability.

Analyse and resolve faults affecting the platform or associated data feeds.

Ensure accurate northbound performance, configuration, and alarm data is delivered to operational systems.

Work collaboratively within the OSS design team to uphold service continuity throughout network migration.

Support improvements, documentation, and stability initiatives across OSS domains.

Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of Huawei MAE or similar element‑management platforms.

Knowledge of mobile network OSS, RAN architecture, and interdependent network layers.

Experience in OSS fault analysis, diagnostics, and remediation.

Broader OSS design experience (highly desirable).

Familiarity with security tooling such as Qualys or CrowdStrike in conjunction with OSS platforms. xjnqpsq
