Description
Job title: Senior Product Designer, TV
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Location: Remote
Design the future of shared living room entertainment. We are seeking a high-craft, highly autonomous Senior Product Designer to shape native, big-screen experiences for our TV and Desktop platforms. In this fast-paced, 6-month contract role, you will translate strategic vision into polished, build-ready 10-foot UIs that blur the line between listening and watching.
What You'll Do
Design for the Big Screen: Drive end-to-end design for video playback, Now Playing views, remote navigation, and shared social moments on TV.
Connect the Ecosystem: Shape multi-device interactions, including casting and second-screen control across Android TV, Apple TV, Samsung, LG, and Xbox.
Execute Rapidly: Jump into in-flight projects and turn direction into meticulous, production-ready specs covering edge cases, focus behavior, and motion.
Drive Strategy & Innovation: Bring a senior perspective to cross-functional discussions and leverage AI-forward workflows (Figma, Cursor, Claude Code) to explore ideas and move fast.What You Bring
Core Expertise: Senior-level experience shipping consumer products in media, entertainment, streaming, or gaming.
Specialized TV Craft: Hands-on portfolio showcasing exceptional visual craft and deep expertise in 10-foot, remote- or controller-driven, focus-based interfaces.
Speed & Autonomy: Proven ability to navigate tight timelines, multi-platform hardware constraints, and complex engineering environments without needing heavy hand-holding.
Strong Collaboration: Clear, decisive communication with product and engineering teams to translate design work into executable big-screen strategy.Bonus Points
Background designing music, social, or shared-play features.
Experience scaling designs across diverse TV partner ecosystems.
