Mathematician – iGaming Studio

Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days onsite: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday)

Salary up to £40,000

An established iGaming provider is seeking a Mathematician to join their game development studio. This role will focus on creating and validating the mathematical frameworks behind casino games across both retail and digital platforms.

Working alongside experienced designers and developers, you’ll take ownership of game maths models from concept through to release, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Designing and refining mathematical models for casino-style games

Producing simulations and detailed calculations to validate game performance

Creating and maintaining clear, structured maths documentation

Working closely with development teams to ensure correct implementation of models

Supporting game submissions with required technical documentation

Reviewing competitor products and analysing performance data

Contributing to continuous improvements in processes and modelling approaches

Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members What We’re Looking For:

Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in casino game mathematics or similar role

Degree in Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience)

Strong programming ability for statistical simulations

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Solid understanding of casino maths theory (RTP, volatility, probability models, etc.)

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
